The Boryeong Mud Festival is a representative festival held every summer in Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do. This festival, which started in 1998, provides a variety of experiences and play programs using mud collected from Boryeong's clean mud flats. Mud means ‘Moist & Soggy Soil’ and has excellent skin beautifying properties.
