Jeonju Hanok Village is located in Pungnam-dong, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do. It is a representative tourist destination where you can experience Korean traditional architecture and culture, and it is the only hanok village in the city center in the country. It is an important space in the development process of modern residential culture in Korea, which began to be built in 1910, and is a large-scale hanok village with about 700 hanoks concentrated.
Jeonju is the birthplace of the Joseon Dynasty and is a city of historical importance. As such, cultural properties that preserve Korean traditions remain to this day. Jeonju Hanok Village also has old cultural properties such as Gyeonggijeon, Omokdae, and Hyanggyo.
